    Manufacturers wishing to sell, in 2017 & beyond, boats or components that are already certified to RCD I, must have those products re-certified to RCD II before 18th January 2017.  To do this, as well as assessing changes to the product and the directive itself, the manufacturer must consider standards that have been updated since the last approval.
